What?
Pool rummy is the most competitive variant of Indian rummy. It works on the principle of elimination and might take a bit longer time to finish. Unlike Points Rummy, Pool Rummy offers a comparatively bigger prize pool and a chance to improve the score throughout the game.
Just as other rummy variations (make at least one pure sequence, sequences/sets), the player who completes the objective of the game first is declared the winner and will have zero points in his hands. The players who fail to complete will be assigned with points carried by the cards in their hand.
How?
Players have to pay a fixed entry fee to join the pool rummy games and fixed maximum allotted point limit is set. The game is quite exhaustive as there is no fixed number of deals. Players are eliminated when they cross a fixed number of points and the player with the least number of points win the total pool prize.
In 101 Pool, you can get eliminated if you cross 101 points. The action is much faster and you can beat your opponents quickly to win the prize pool. In 201 Pool, if any player crosses the point value limit 201 is eliminated from the game. The game continues until all the players are eliminated.
